Lost Egypt

Today marks the opening of Lost Egypt, the newest special exhibition at the Science Museum of Minnesota. It promises “a glimpse of the science and technology that modern archaeologists use to reconstruct life in ancient times,” including a human mummy, a life-size prototype illustrating the “unwrapping” of a mummy, a recreated Egyptian tomb, art and artifacts from that ancient civilization, interviews with archeologists, and hands-on activities.

Science Museum tickets are $13 ($20 with Omnitheater show), though there’s a student discount of about 50% on Friday evenings. Get tickets for Lost Egypt and the rest of the Science Museum here.
