It’s Homecoming Week at Bethel University, and there are lots of Hippo connections to be found. Tomorrow’s chapel speaker will be seminary alum of the year Joel Johnson ’80 S ’86, a local pastor who talked about studying philosophy as part of his Seminary of the Year alum video, and the 2021 winner of that award on the college side is Jeff Nelson ’87, who went from majoring in History to umpiring for Major League Baseball.

If you are coming back to campus, we’d love to see you! If you’re here during the week, come to CC 429 to check out our new departmental space and visit with us. Stop by the faculty authors shelf in the Campus Store to see what our profs have been writing.

And if you’re going to the football game on Saturday, you’ll find several of our faculty staffing a table in the alumni tent near the main gate, from 11am-3pm.

Looking forward to seeing you!
